[freeside-users] freeside 3.1 and mysql database

Hi,
I've installed a freeside on a mysql (not postgresql) server and got into
trouble when trying to access biling events creation page :

Too many tables; MySQL can only use 61 tables in a join at
/var/www/freeside/search/elements/search.html line 436

Looks like EAV model is used in the design of the system. This does not
scale well ... Is there any option (or code change) to avoid this type of
behavior (in a sense of using temporary result tables ... ) or i need to go
back to psql?
