Thanks for the quick response,

I am testing this on a virtual machine  so I can easily reset.

I followed your suggestions this time, and got this output:

"aptitude install freeside freeside-lib freeside-webui libev-perl-"

Package libev-perl is not installed, so it will not be removed
Package libev-perl is not installed, so it will not be removed

The following NEW packages will be installed:

==<snip long list of packages displayed>==

The following packages are RECOMMENDED but will NOT be installed:

libev-perl

0 packages upgraded, 680 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Need to get 1,126 MB of archives. After unpacking 2,208 MB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
freeside-lib : Depends: liblocale-subcountry-perl (< 2) but it is not
going to be installed
     Conflicts: libparams-classify-perl (>= 0.013-6) but 0.013-6+b1 is
to be installed
open: 1583; closed: 63; defer: 1580; conflict: 7585 .

The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

Keep the following packages at their current version:

1) freeside [Not Installed]
2) freeside-lib [Not Installed]
3) freeside-webui [Not Installed]

Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]

So, yeah, it still seems to be broken.

Looking through old posts on here, it seems I am not the only one having
issues installing per the wiki.

I did select a couple of items for install. SSH Server and the "standard
system utilities."

Maybe adding system utilities was too much and causing the conflict?

Thanks again.
