hi,
I am using apache 1.3.33
in fact, installed apache 1.3 with apache_ssl patch , perl 5.8.6 from
source on the Solaris \.
apache2 is a big nono!
if you trawl around in the mailing list, you might find some reference
to this.
also if you have to use apache 2, get mod_perl 1.29 source and compile
and install
mod_perl 2 will *not* work.
Does Apache2 offer any benefits over 1.3 (esp if you're going to use
freeside) that you would want to use that?

Regards,

Shivkumar
