There are eight Australian states..   

VIC
NSW
NT
QLD
TAS
ACT
WA
SA

These are the Australian states abbriviations..   Actually use these abbriviations not the ones in my last E-mail..  as I got 
the Queensland one wrong   I called it QL, where is was meant to be QLD...
If you want to make them all 3 letter    I suppose you could use the underscore..  e.g  NT_  That will probably still look 
O.K. off a pick list..
