Welp, I just installed Debian 9.4 (Jessie), set up the repositories for
Freeside, resolved the package dependencies for Freeside and libraries,
and now this is what I'm getting:

root at freeside-ernie:/home/ernied# uname -a
Linux freeside-ernie 4.9.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.82-1+deb9u3
(2018-03-02) x86_64 GNU/Linux
root at freeside-ernie:/home/ernied# apt-get -f install freeside-lib

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
freeside-lib : Depends: libclass-container-perl but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: libhtml-mason-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: liblog-dispatch-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libparams-validate-perl but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: libdatetime-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libdatetime-format-strptime-perl but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libauthen-passphrase-perl but it is not going
to be installed
Depends: libemail-sender-perl but it is not going to be
installed
                 Depends: libemail-sender-transport-smtp-tls-perl but it
is not going to be installed
Depends: libdatetime-format-natural-perl but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libgnupg-interface-perl but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: libdatetime-set-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libhttp-server-simple-mason-perl but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libxml-rss-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libhtml-mason-psgihandler-perl but it is not
going to be installed
Depends: libapache2-authcookie-perl but it is not going
to be installed
Depends: libdate-extract-perl but it is not going to be
installed
                 Depends: libparams-classify-perl (>= 0.013-5.1) but it
is not going to be installed
Depends: libmap-splat-perl but it is not going to be
installed
Depends: libdatetime-format-ical-perl but it is not

Attempting to resolve these dependencies gets me nowhere:

libhtml-mason-perl liblog-dispatch-perl libparams-validate-perl
libdatetime-perl libdatetime-format-strptime-perl
libauthen-passphrase-perl libemail-sender-perl

So now, I'm at an impasse.

Has anyone else installed Freeside on Debian 9?
