As long as the source version is 1.9+ you can typically just move the
database and /usr/local/etc/freeside/htpasswd over and run freeside-upgrade.
Also probably wouldn't be a bad idea to scan the upgrade notes for all
intermediate verions for changes that might need to be made to ACLs, event
configuration, that kind of thing.
Unfortunatley from a source version of 1.7 the procedure is more difficult,
as the 1.9 upgrade migrates configuraiton from the filesystem to the database
and also has the new event system. You could try copying over the config
directory ( /usr/local/etc/freeside/conf.datasrc), then perhaps follow the
1.9 upgrade instructions before the 2.1 ones?
