IIRC you have to run it as the freeside UNIX user and pass an employee 
username as the first argument, like most other command-line utilities.

man chmod
chmod a+rx bin/freeside-migrate-events

My memory on this migration is pretty stale; we have very few people on 
anything older than 2.1 these days.
