[freeside-users] Error when installing freeside 1.5.7

Parameters:

Freeside - 1.5.7
HTML::Mason
All Perl Modules Installed as per install document
(don't know how to check if all are working) - no
errors in Apache though
OS: Linux - Fedora Core 5: 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 
Perl: perl, v5.8.8 built for i386-linux-thread-multi
Database: postgresql-8.1.3-1
DBI: 1.50
DBD::PG - 1.45

Problem:
--------

I am following the install Manual but when I get to
the point:
As the freeside UNIX user, run bin/populate-msgcat
username (in the untar'ed freeside directory) to
populate the message catalog, passing the username of
a Freeside user you created above: 
$ su freeside
$ cd /path/to/freeside/
$ bin/populate-msgcat username

I get the following error:
[freeside at fc freeside-1.5.7]$ bin/populate-msgcat

All the other steps worked perfectly.
