Account numbers

Is there a way I can manually set the "account numbers" used by freeside?
As we migrate our customers we would like to be able to keep the same
account numbers that were used in the old billing system. Many of our
customers have been using that info on their check payments for several
years and we'd like to avoid as much confusion as possible.
