 I think for now I'll have to use Postgres, I'm not sure about just commenting out the locking code, as this setup is a trial for a production setup, so no dodgy hacks allowed :) It might be an idea to update the install instructions on the website and warn against using mysql for this reason.

 I'll now need to get freeradius talking to a postgresql backend instead as well...

 Also thanks for this code Ivan, it'll hopefully help us move away from a really bad system my company has been using for a while.
