5 digit credit cards -- federal law

FYI - Apparently, a new US Federal law has been passed requiring showing 
no more than the last 5 digits of a credit card number on a "receipt" 
for any equipment put into service after January 2005, and all equipment 
by January 2006.

The act is the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003.
