Architecture

Hi,
	I'm considering using Freesite, but I'd like to know a little more
about it's architecture. Specially, the concepts of 'batch update' and 'queue'.
Is there someplace to read about how it handles it?

	To be a little more specific, I'm concerned about two scenarios:

-Hosts temporary unreachable.
-Brand new host, replacing a previous (because, say, you upgraded OS/Apache,
etc. on a new machine and thus cannot use backups). Is it possible to command
freesite to 'update to current state'?
