[Off-Topic??] Current setups?

Hi All.

Hopefully this isn't too off-topic... This is really kind of a "sidebar" to my other thread with the issues I seem to be having getting the Apache::ASP perl module running happily with Freeside on a Mandrake 8.2 system (with Apache, etc. installed from the Mandrake CDs).

I've decided to do a "minimal" install (still Mandrake), but install Apache and mostly everything else from source (using Apache Toolbox), and install the Perl modules Freeside needs via CPAN (which is really also from source <grin>).  I'll prolly include PostgreSQL as part of my Mandrake install, though.  Anyway, I just want to see if the problem may be related to something funky that Mandrake does with the RPM setups.

In that vein, I am kinda curious as to what sort of setups people are using?  In essence:

1) What Linux Distro?

2) What versions of Apache, PostgreSQL?

3) Are the Apache modules (mod_perl, mod_ssl, etc.) installed as DSO's or compiled right into the Apache binary?

Well, that's all I can think of, for now.  I look forward to hearing back from you on this.
