    Ivan,

We've tried this method of single billing... It seems to leave some
undesirable artifacts.

First, once the package is applied to the customer and changed that
package is appended to the list of available packages with a package number.
It can get unwieldly in short order.

Second, it appears unless you apply the credit directly to this
"created" package or manually cancel it, it will generate bills forever at
every billing cycle dated for the month that you created the package.

We used this method to transfer outstanding balances when we moved from
our old accounting system in January. I'm JUST getting these artifacts
removed totally now. (I still hit one now and again <sigh> and the first of
the month used to be a bitch <grin>)

That said we need this capability in a more flexible implementation.
We're looking at how we want to do it, if you have suggestions as to how
you'd think it best integrated we'd certainly be interested.

    Best Regards,

    Steve
