You are obviously using mod_perl. unfortunately since Ivan has implemented
some security things based on the freeside user, you have to run the httpd
as freeside. You might find a trick or 2 over on the mod_perl list but I
fiddled with this for a few days before just accepting it. There are a
couple of threads that Ivan explains the security model and how the freeside
is used.
