Problem with "Browse" function

Sorry to keep bugging you all, but I didn't have any problems at all with
the 1.1.6 freeside setup - 1.2.1 is killing me (&*^&^()&.

What is causing this error:

FATAL: /usr/local/etc/freeside//conf.DBI:mysql:freeside doesn't exist! at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/FS/Conf.pm line 57.

My web browser complains like this when I try to access any of the "Browse"
functions.
