Does it work with Oracle?

Hi.

I am abt to plunge into deploying and using Freeside, and require few
clarifications.

One of the features mentioned on the website is: Uses Perl's DBI allowing
use of almost any database backend to store data. We currently recommend
PostgreSQL or MySQL. Does 'almost any' include Oracle? I have observed from
the mailing lists that there has been some problem regarding the column
names and data display problem wrt Freeside not using Oracle-compatible DBI
syntax (uses the return value from $sth->execute as a number of rows). Is
that all? Can that be easily rectified?

I would like to know whether anyone has successfully implemented Freeside
with an Oracle backend.
