Hi,

 Personnaly I never did a multi level upgrade (1.7.3 to 2.3.0), I've
always upgraded from one release major / minor to the other (2.1.0 to
2.1.1 to 2.1.2) by following the documentation in the wiki and it
worked for me. Only snag I hit in the past was that I was using MySQL
instead of Postgresql, and had trouble upgrading. Once I switched to
Postgresql all went fine.

 Seb,
