In the US and Canada, enter the phone number in the "Search customers" 
search box, where it says "(cust #, name, company or phone)".

Outside the US and Canada, you'll need to teach the system to recognize 
your phone numbers as phone numbers to search on them.  Modify the 
"smart_search" subroutine in cust_main.pm.
