[freeside-users] Virtual Fields : invalid name syntax

I have added 2 virtual fields to the svc_broadband table and now I get 
the an 'Error: ERROR: invalid name syntax '

Field #1
Name:  private_ip
Table: svc_broadband  
Label: privateip
Length: 20
check and list blank

Field #2
Name:  mac
Table: svc_broadband  
Label: mac
Length: 18
check and list blank

Anyone have any ideas what is causing this or how to get more details so 
I can debug it?
