Self-Service Server Issues: Connecting to non-standard SSH port

hi,
I have tested the self-service server with a machine that is running 
sshd on port 22. Now what do I have to do to connect to a machine which 
is running its sshd server on a non-standard port say 6760?
I tried changing the machine argument to freeside-selfservice-server to 
hostname:port but that is not working. the server is generating a whole 
bunch of zombie ssh processes.
