[freeside] fs_passwd_server

Thanks for the response, but I was thinking there was something within
the setup process that I mess up or something to do with
fs_passwd_server itself that I could alter. Using su is easy enough.
You'll have to excuse my over complication of the problem.

Nate,
You want to use su. Check "man su" but generally this is what
your're looking for.

	su -l freeside -c '/usr/local/bin/fs_passwd_server freeside
192.168.76.2'

you should be able to test this from the root prompt... If
you're
running postgres, check the init script for a similar example since
the
postmaster generally runs as the postgres user.

Subject: [freeside] fs_passwd_server

One last issue (I think).

How can I allow root to start the fs_passwd_server

fs_passwd_server complains about not being the freeside user so how do
I work around this so that the server can be started automatically via
rc.local when booting.

I'm not interested in the init scripts though, just issuing the
command
from rc.local (which means allowing root to start it).

The command from rc.local should be '/usr/local/bin/fs_passwd_server
freeside 192.168.76.2'
It is from here that freeside_queued is started.
