Can't add new custmer

When I try to add a new customer I get the following error message. Error:
Can't find domsvc in svc_domain.svcnum 
The package I'm selecting does have a service from table svc_domain with a
fixed domain.

environment: freeside-1.4.1, RH 7.3., psql 7.3.3

Any ideas?
