Server Error

I installed freeside on  RH8.0 and I am able to get to the home page. When I
click on "configuration" or "New Customer" , I get a 

"server error" message. The error logs display:

 

Can't locate object method "dir_config" via package "apache::RequestRec" at
/usr/lib/perl/....../ASP.pm
