Self Service Daemon Dies unexpectedly.

Well perhaps the errors coming from the Self Service Daemon mean nothing 
to you, but there is a correlation between the daemon running (and not).

of script headers: /home/JunkMail/html/signup/index.cgi
connect: Connection refused at 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/FS/SelfService.pm line 90.
[Sun Dec 28 10:49:11 2003] [error] [client 141.156.233.118] Premature 
end of script headers: /home/JunkMail/html/signup/index.cgi

I checked the status of the daemon on the billing server, and it was not 
running.

There does not appear to be a log for these daemons.  Is there one?

Should I install this into the /etc/inittab file to get the daemon to 
restart automatically?
