problem?

I am having some trouble with getting the tables and all setup, i run =
./fs-setup user in the correct directory as user - freeside.  But i keep =
getting the error.

Can't open =
/usr/local/etc/freeside/dbdef.DBI:Pg:host=3Dlocalhost;dbname=3Dfreeside: =
Permission denied at =
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/DBIx/DBSchema.pm line 153, <STDIN> =

can anyone help me out?
