Error with DBI

I keep getting the same error whenever I run any of the CGI's:

Software error:
Transactions not supported by database at 
/usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/i386-bsdos/DBI.pm line 433.



Both DBI and DBD::mysql seem to have installed correctly, and MySQL is 
working perfectly.
