[freeside] event hooks?

I did rtfm. I got freeside installed and working without pestering anyone
so far. Kudos for the good documentation.
Didn't realize till this point (creating config files) that freeside wants
to write directly to our servers for creating virtuals, aliases, etc.
Paranoia set in. We have multiple webservers, our scripts figure out
which box to put them on, next available IP, etc.
We want to use our existing scripts instead for these
events, without having to modify the freeside scripts. Simply calling our
existing scripts with arguments would be ideal.
