Installing Support

Hi,

I am a reseller from one of US hosting provider but i live in indonesia.
These are what i have :
- I don't have root access
- MySQL already Installed on server
- PHP 4
- Using CPanel3

I want to try install freeside script but i don't have a clue from where i have to start because the documentation too confusing me.  I have a little knowledge about perl, MySQL stuff.

The questions are :
1. Can i install this script without me having root access ?
2. Where i can find simple, easy and step by step installing guidence ?
3. Can i just upload htdocs directory only ?
