countrydefault is a feature and works fine..  the other two were my
suggestions for the filenames you would use to add a similar feature for
statedefault and referraldefault to the code in
htdocs/edit/cust_main.cgi.  my apologies if my original email did not
make that clear.  please send the patch when you have it working.
