[freeside] I am trying to enter established customers

Ok, That I can do.... How would you go about setting the correct dates:
Example

Customer started on 01/01/00 and they purchased 6 months ending 07/01/00
We have converted to freeside on 04/01/00 and we need to set the date back
to 01/01/00 for billing purposes. so that we get the proper generation of
the bill on 07/01/00.

That is the issue that we are trying to resolve right now....
