Problem with secrets

[Webmaster]

Ok here are all my secret(s) files and all are in the follwoing directory:
/usr/local/etc/freeside


------FILE 1: "mapsecrets" (1 line of text)
freeside        DBI:mysql:freeside

^^^^- Username    ^^^^-- Filename

------FILE 2: "DBI:mysql:freeside" (3 lines of text, comments are on end of
line, do not include comments!!!)
DBI:mysql:freeside		<-- connection type to the sql server
freeside			<-- SQL Username
password			<-- SQL Password

>Software error: 
>
>Illegal line in /usr/local/etc/freeside//secrets: DBI:mysql:freeside
>freeside password

The file name in the first file may be anything (from what i see in the
source, i made the file be the name of the connection type, just for ease
of installation!)

My exact directoty structure is as follows: (this may make it easier to
install and such, as well as upgrade)

/usr/local/freeside  <-- Main Path everything is directly in this path, no
sym-links in here!)

/usr/local/etc/freeside  <-- Linked to main path above (just so if he moves
the files again i still have a standard installation directory)

/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/freeside  <-- Linked to the site_perl directory in
the freeside directoty.

/var/lib/httpd/htdocs/freeside	   <-- Linked to the htdocs directory of the
freeside main install. (i included an updated .htaccess file, as well as
added execution of scripts in this directory. Also to be more secure on the
system i ran a program that creates wrappers for the .cgi files so i didn't
have to patch the kernel to allow suid-perl scripts.)
