Ok, well per your Ivan's suggestion I went and downloaded the newist version
of CVS... Now I'm having no problem loggin on but when I go to do the
checkout I get some errors... Any ideas what's wrong:

CVSROOT=":pserver:anonymous at pouncequick.sisd.com:/home/cvs/cvsroot"
cvs checkout freeside_current
cvs server: cannot open /root/.cvsignore: Permission denied
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/root): Permission denied
