freeside looks pretty cool

I've been browsing the sample database you set up for Zachary.
Freeside looks pretty cool.  I've got a customer who's looking for a
new user billing and administration system.  Does freeside let users
change their own passwords?  Does it export a tac_plus.conf file?
Does it do uid assignment for new users?
