Which OS to use?

I am preparing to set up my billing machine for a test of FreeSide.  We use
FreeBSD for our other servers, and I was considering using that for the
FreeSide server as well.  Are there any other of you out there that use
FreeBSD for your FreeSide server?  I can obtain and install Linux (I may do
that anyway).  What do you gurus suggest?
