I think the preferred method is to credit any unwanted or incorrect
invoices.  In general, deleting invoices is a bad idea as it leaves no
record that it ever existed.  That's particularly bad if freeside has
already email, printed, or faxed your now deleted invoice.  Is there a
specific reason why you're wanting to delete invoices?
