One would be pedantically correct, the billing would then run from the
first at 00:00:00 to the last at 23:59:59.  Substracting 86400 could mess
up systems where the server automatically cuts services off based on the
expiration of the account (everyone would get chopped on the last day of
the month).

Of course, since I'm not writing the code, mine is just an opinion.
