Deprecated call to eidiot()

Hiya,
	With 1.2.3 on postgres we get a call to eidiot(): 

[Mon Jul 17 18:24:41 2000] [error] [Mon Jul 17 18:24:41 2000] null: Undefined
subroutine &Apache::ROOT::misc::process::link_2ecgi::eidiot called at
/home/freeside/html/misc/process/link.cgi line 53. 

I can see this is deprecated in the docs, but not what it should be replaced
by...

Any ideas?
